Windermere Real Estate associates pitch in!
Windermere Real Estate associates participated in the company’s 23rd annual Community Service Day on Fri., June 15. In this tradition of hands-on service, thousands of volunteers from Windermere offices in the Northwest donated a full workday to individual neighborhood projects in their own communities. Created in 1984, Windermere’s Community Service Day is nationally recognized as a model hands-on volunteer program. For example, for this year’s Community Service Day, associates from Windermere’s Puyallup/Canyon Road office (pictured here) cleaned up the walking trails at Point Defiance; associates from Windermere’s Spanaway office went door-to-door with firefighters from the Central Pierce Fire Department to check, install and replace smoke detectors; and other local Windermere associates removed Scotch broom from UP parks and worked at the Lakewood Area Shelter Association.
